Just when I was starting to feel better ~ another Round of Chemo is due !

I just want to say as lousy as I felt 3 weeks ago I am now feeling amazingly alive and high spirits. This monday, though its time for the final round of the AC, which is the hardest chemo I am going to take for the last time !

My Oncologist, Dr Rivandranathan

This is Michelle, one of the RNs, at the Infusion Ctr,  we've know each other for a couple of years now.

I've been taking the dogs for walks, gardening and I even went out to lunch with another breast cancer survivor. Right now I'm loving my life.

I want to thank the girls, Rhonna, Patti, Renee,Tracy, Jenny, Nancy, Marjan, and Janet for the gift certificates. They will come in very handy.

The other thing I wanted to comment on is how many of my friends are excellent chefs. I am continuely impressed by your fantastic dishes! Thank you from Randy & I !!!

I got really sick!

Oct 4th, 2011
Hi Everyone,

I know it's been awhile since my last blog entry and no I haven't given up on blogging.

About a week later after my last post, my cold came back with fury and turned into bronchitis. I ended up in the hosptial for 3 days in reverse isolation and on antibiotics.

I have never felt so weak in my life!

I want to thank all the Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, M.As., and Docs at Grossmont Hospital who made it just a little less scary.

A special thanks to my husband for insisting I go to the hospital. Even though I didn't want to. Those of us in the medical profession really make lousy patients.

As you can see I was not feeling very well. Hence, a really bad picture.

I felt like 100 years old. I was so happy to see Jaime, my Respiratory Therapist.

When you can't breath they (RT'S) are your angels.

Angela came by with a bag of goodies and well wishes from work.

Thank you Angela. Just seeing your face lifted my spirits. I sure miss everyone at work. : (
